Overview
María Lahore is the Principal Executive at CAF- Development Bank of Latin America, in the Office for Europe, where she is responsible for the relations with institutions from member (Spain and Portugal) and non-member European countries. She works with public, private, multilateral and NGOs as a liaison with CAF´s areas and country offices. She actively supports and represents CAF´s action in Finance, Productive and Financial Sector, Infrastructure, Social Development, Environment, Public Policy and Research. Maria joined the bank in 2007 and has held several positions at the corporate headquarters in Caracas, being responsible of technical cooperation operations in competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and social development. She previously worked in business internationalization of Spanish companies, based in Spain and the United States. She has a degree in Law and Business Management (E-3) from the University of Pontificia de Comillas- ICADE and earned a Dual Degree Master of International Affairs and Public Administration from Columbia University- School of Public and International Affairs (SIPA) and from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
