Riyaadh Hanslo joined Jumo in 2017 as a regulatory specialist, where he is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with applicable regulations. He does this through research, testing, and analysis of results and risk exposure across lines of business. He previously worked in Corporate and Investment Banking, more specifically, in the global markets and trading, thereafter turned his focus to regulatory and legal analysis in the bank’s corporate and investment sector. Riyaadh holds an LLB and post-graduate qualifications in law, banking and finance.
Jumo
Jumo is a South African technology company that provides a platform for individuals in emerging markets, who are largely excluded from traditional financial services, to access mobile savings and credit in real-time – often for the first time. Jumo has developed a credit scoring algorithm which allows the client’s ability to repay a loan to be estimated based on data on their use of their mobile phone, electronic wallet and other behavioural data.
