State-owned South African NationalbParks (SANParks) sustainably develops, protects, expands, manages and promotes South Africa’s national parks. This entails innovation, excellence, responsible tourism and just/fair socio-economic benefit. SANParks currently manages 20 national parks, including three World Heritage Sites and 10 marine protected areas. It is the largest tourism entity in South Africa, providing more than 15,000 tourism beds and annually attracting more than seven million visitors to its national parks.
