Jean-Raphaël Chaponnière was formerly a CNRS research engineer, a researcher at ISEAS (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore), an expert at NESDB (National Economic and Social Development Board, Thailand) and Asia Centre (INSEAD), economic advisor to the French Embassy in Korea and Turkey, and an economist in
AFD’s Asia Department. He is a member of Asie 21-Futuribles and contributes to Asialyst.
