Essor Programme

The Essor programme forms part of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s (FCDO’s) Private Sector Development portfolio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This portfolio aims to reduce poverty in the DRC. Essor is a GBP 35M flexible technical assistance facility that works to support policy interventions which improve the DRC’s business environment for micro, small and medium sized enterprises to create jobs and services for the poor.
