David Harper is the managing director of Leisure Property Services, a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the author of newly published book Hotels and Resorts; An Investor’s Guide. He is also the author of the best-selling book; Valuation of Hotels for Investors. David is a founding member of Hotel Partners Africa (HPA), a consultancy offering a comprehensive range of services to hotel owners, operators and investors from initial feasibility to sale and exit. David has over 20 years’ experience in property and the hotel industry and has worked in over 100 countries. He also advises the RICS on hotel valuations and wrote the guidance on ISURV, a subscription service providing best practice advice for Chartered Surveyors the world over.
