Benedetta Schiavetti is a pharmacist and a researcher in the quality of essential medicines. During 5 years working with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and, later on, with QUAMED, she developed extensive knowledge on the pharmaceutical market and regulation in resources-limited settings and on the shortcomings of humanitarian procurement policies. She recently coordinated a medicines quality survey in DRC and, today, her main focus is the study of medicines quality across the supply chain.
Quamed
Quamed is an autonomous not for profit association which objective is to contribute to improving access to quality medicines. It aims to raise awareness about the need to scale up access to quality medicines in resource-poor settings, and to help to reinforce Quality Assurance systems.
